14” Fork Hand Forged Carbon Steel USA 1930s-60s
Marks have been ground off handle, looks like a Lamson.
In great condition, tines are straight and handle free from damage other than a grind mark where it looks like the markings were removed as if it was a seconds. I see no flaw that would make it as such, possibly it developed rust at the factory.. ???
Light hardwood handle with brass rivets is very healthy with little wear and no cracks. Old forks like this have a great, solid feel with nice quality forging and grinding.
Tines are 4.75” from inside and overall length is 14” 8.7 oz.
Fork is nice and bright but is not stainless, be sure to keep it clean and enjoy a patina that will grow with use.
